Today (03/02/18) we took a short drive to the Comesa Market to look for some fabric. This is located in Victoria Falls , Zimbabwe.
I met some lovely people trying to make an earnest living.
The market traders looked intently on us, calling us in their direction as we approached.
There was so many fabric for me to choose from. I didn’t know where to start.
The burst of colours were amazing and the the vast amount of choice was somewhat overwhelming.
I tried my best to buy at least something from each stall knowing that this most likely be their only sell for the day.
I met a lovely lady call Berita. She was so friendly and kind (as was the rest).
She was very enthusiastic about her selection of fabric she had to sell. I bought a few pieces from her.
The prices of the fabric I found were so reasonable and I had such great satisfaction in knowing that I’ve put money into the locals hands rather than lining a rich mans pocket with more cash in the UK.
